Holder Construction, an ENR Top 30 construction industry leader with operations throughout the United States, is seeking motivated professionals for the Preconstruction role. The Preconstruction department has a presence in Atlanta, Charlotte, Northern Virginia, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and San Jose, with opportunities in all regional locations.
Responsibilities- Read and understand construction design documents and specifications.
- Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
- Manage cost and design issues.
- Coordinate trades and contribute to BIM exposure as part of project teams.
- Responsible for all purchasing required to support projects, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations and contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related construction/engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
- Outstanding communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to relocate.
