Next Step Recruiting is a collaborative staffing firm where sales and recruiting operate as one team. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to expand our client base across IT and Professional Services in the DFW market.
This role is designed for sales professionals who value partnership and delivery. There are no sharks, no internal competition with recruiters, and no moving goalposts. We offer base salaries with no draws and a best-in-class commission structure that has never changed, rewarding performance without creating burnout or internal friction.
This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be local to DFW and comfortable with frequent in-person client meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop new client relationships for staffing and recruiting services
- Sell contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
- Conduct a minimum of 5 in-person client visits per week
- Build, maintain, and actively work a targeted account list
- Engage directly with hiring managers and decision-makers
- Partner closely with recruiters to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction
- Track accounts, activity, and opportunities in Loxo (ATS/CRM)
- Active and well-maintained target account list
- Consistent pipeline development and account growth
- Proven experience in agency staffing business development
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling contract, CTH, and direct hire services
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong follow-through and organizational skills
- Must be local to the DFW area
- Experience selling into IT and/or Professional Services
- Existing DFW market relationships
- Familiarity with ATS/CRM tools such as Loxo
