This is an in office position for candidates located in the DFW Metroplex.
Responsibilities- FBA Shipment Creation: Prepare and submit accurate inbound shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Shipment Reconciliation: Audit received inventory against shipping manifests to identify and resolve discrepancies with Amazon.
- 3PL & Warehouse Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for third-party logistics (3PL) providers and brand warehouse teams to sync outbound schedules.
- Platform Management: Manage and update inventory settings and stock levels across both Amazon Seller Central and Shopify.
- Seasonality Planning: Analyze historical data to adjust inventory levels for peak seasons (Q4/Prime Day) and slower periods to maximize ROI.
- Subscribe & Save Oversight: Review subscription data to ensure a rolling 60-day inventory buffer is always available.
- Aged Inventory Reporting: Pull and analyze reports to identify slow-moving stock and execute removal or liquidation strategies.
- Financial Auditing: Monitor and fix FBA rate fees and SKU dimensions/weight inaccuracies to prevent overcharges.
- Projections & Reporting: Provide monthly inventory projections and deliver accurate End of Month inventory numbers.
- Brand Protection: Manage and oversee the Amazon Transparency program for all assigned brands.
- Inventory Defect & Reimbursement Management: Proactively monitor the IDR Portal to identify units lost or damaged in fulfillment centers or during customer returns. File and track manual reimbursement claims within Amazon’s strict eligibility windows to recover lost capital.
- Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient and self-sufficient in Ship Hero, Shopify, and Amazon Seller Central.
- Relevant
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Amazon inventory management or e-commerce operations. - Claims Expertise: Familiarity with Amazon’s reimbursement policies and the ability to provide documentation (invoices, BOLs) required to win claims.
- Analytical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for inventory modeling and forecasting. - Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of the relationship between 3PL warehouses and marketplace fulfillment.
- Detail Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and margin protection.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 / year
