SUMMARY:
Loloi Rugs is seeking a full-time Associate Inventory Planner. In this position, you’ll be responsible for forecasting and planning inventory for multiple textile categories—thousands of SKUs in total. The ideal candidate can analyze a breadth of data, factoring elements like trends, product life cycles, minimum order quantities, lead times, timing, warehouse capacity, and more to forecast and plan inventory.
This position reports to our Director, Planning and Inventory Management, and at times works directly with leadership. This role is based in our Dallas, TX headquarters and is onsite 5 days a week. Responsibilities- Determine proper inventory levels and re-order orders down to the SKU level based on selling trends.
- Can identify sales trends in excel
- Evaluate in-stock position across categories and communicate to cross-functional partners on opportunities
- Partner with the Director of Planning and Inventory Management, Sales team, internal production team
- Oversee purchase orders with our manufacturers and understand timing.
- Review, analyze, and present various inventory reports through Excel.
- Communicate directly with manufacturers for updates on lead times and MOQs.
- Responsibility for writing and following up on Purchase orders
- Steady communication with our manufacturers to ensure accurate ETAs on production orders, packaging requirements, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or similar degree.
- 2-4 years of Retail experience in inventory management, forecasting, and planning.
- Enjoys a team environment and collaborates cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented and excels at multitasking.
- Tenacious drive and a positive can-do spirit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
