As a Supply Chain Analyst, your primary goal will be to design and implement analytical models, conduct in-depth performance analyses, identify areas for improvement, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and strengthen logistics efficiency from source to the final consumer. You will leverage data analysis, innovative strategies, and problem-solving skills to increase efficiency, decrease costs, and improve overall performance in the supply chain network.
Collaborating with stakeholders across various functions, you will identify opportunities for improvement, anticipate consumer demand, manage inventory, and ensure timely product delivery. Ultimately, your mission is to promote operational excellence, deliver exceptional customer value, and foster sustainable growth for the organization.
- Lead complex analyses of logistics operations, including inbound material flow, outbound shipments, transportation performance, warehouse operations, and inventory movement.
- Monitor performance trends, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Coordinate with transportation providers, warehouse teams, and partners to resolve logistics issues and improve performance.
- Communicate complex analyses in clear and concise formats tailored for both operational and executive audiences.
- Analyze large datasets to create models, KPIs, reports, and recommendations for key decision-makers, including senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools utilized by leadership for daily operations and long-term planning.
- Consult business teams to analyze and define requirements, recommending innovations that anticipate future impacts.
- Understand the broad objectives of each project, recognize your role in achieving those objectives, and adjust your approach as needed.
- Learn, comprehend, and master new methods and technologies, serving as a resource or mentor for others.
- Develop and support client and internal reporting requirements and systems.
- Create strategies, business cases, and requirements to secure resources and drive actionable initiatives.
- Identify, develop, and implement process and system cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with and influence stakeholders to secure support and deliver cost-efficient solutions across multiple projects.
- Deliver compelling reports and presentations that communicate essential supply chain insights.
- Perform other duties as assigned to improve OBE’s logistics performance, encompassing a wide range of activities aligned with distribution, sourcing, and procurement objectives.
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Business, or Supply Chain from an accredited institution.
- Foundational understanding of Statistics, including descriptive and summary statistics.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis and Modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP, Warehouse Management, and Logistics software (e.g., SAP TM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan).
