Overview

As a Sales Analytics Consultant, you’ll serve as the sales organization’s expert in using, understanding, and acting on customer data. You’ll help businesses make sense of transaction, travel, and engagement data to understand travelers, identify opportunities, and deliver experiences that delight customers while moving the metrics that matter. You’ll combine business knowledge with technical expertise to unlock insights and transform them into actionable stories for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer insights and opportunities through internal and customer data, leveraging insights to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and the Customer Success Team to deliver revenue-driving account strategies, tactics, contract proposals, and effective presentations.
  • Transform raw data into understandable, presentable, and actionable findings; share with senior leaders, sales partners, customers, and others.
  • Use technical skills (SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, Big Data concepts) to answer business requests and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Research trends and develop new processes, tools, and reports to increase revenue and sales-cycle efficiency.
  • Identify revenue opportunities from internal data, third-party data, and insights from internal teams.
  • Communicate insights and opportunities to customers through QBRs and RFPs.
  • Develop tailored reports to meet business requirements and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales and customer activities.
  • Partner with Account Managers to identify opportunities for improvement and support quarterly business reviews.
  • Mentor teammates to develop analytical skills; contribute to data set development, improvement, and quality control; adhere to data privacy standards.
  • May perform other duties as directed by leaders.
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, economics, and their applications.
  • Understanding of moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including related costs and benefits.
  • Knowledge of sales processes for promoting and selling products or services.
  • Ability to identify, collect, organize, visualize, and assimilate data; proficient in data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
  • Experience with data prep tools (e.g., Alteryx), data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced SQL.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to translate information into insights for diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex topics and influence stakeholders; able to work independently, handle ambiguity, and solve problems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
Education
  • Required:

    High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Advanced-level experience in sales analysis and the transportation industry; ability to solve ambiguous problems; experience working with large datasets; ability to translate raw data into actionable insights; ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to work from a designated work area for extended periods; ability to communicate in English; proficiency with computers and office tools.

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per company guidelines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must comply with attendance standards and confidentiality requirements; ability to travel up to 50% including overnight stays.
Pay & Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $103,750 – $115,300 per year, with potential bonuses for eligible roles.
  • Benefits include flight privileges, 401(k) contributions up to 9.3% of eligible earnings, potential Profit Sharing contributions, and comprehensive health insurance for employees and dependents.
