Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager to join our team supporting the IT mission of a large federal agency. This role allows you to demonstrate expertise in product management and product marketing while contributing to government innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the Secure Release product and business‑planning process across cross‑functional teams.
  • Analyze consumer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build‑vs‑buy perspective.
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek differentiation opportunities.
  • Develop product requirements and ensure successful achievement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Execute the Secure Release product, including research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and launch.
  • Translate product strategy into prototype and final product requirements for engineering teams.
  • Produce product strategy documents covering business cases, use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Analyze market data to craft sales strategies and define product objectives for marketing communications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and sales on development, QA, release, and resource balance.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiate the product across market segments.
  • Manage release notes, walkthroughs, client notifications, product deployment, and feature‑request queue priorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in product design, engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience in a dynamic product‑management role.
  • Proven oversight of all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Highly effective cross‑functional team management.
  • Previous experience delivering fine‑tuned product‑marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and public‑speaking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in product design, engineering, or related field.
  • Software and web development experience.
  • Experience working as a product developer in a non‑managerial role.
