About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Account Director to oversee and drive all activities for key customer accounts within the HVAC, Refrigeration, or Appliance sectors. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams, project management, and internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor both outside sales and inside sales administration teams, providing training and guidance to ensure alignment with account objectives.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong corporate relationships with key customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve disputes and challenges with key customers and internal stakeholders promptly and effectively.

  • Performance Reviews: Conduct quarterly reviews of sales personnel to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Sales Forecasting: Establish and review monthly sales forecasts and project management plans to achieve company sales targets.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and corrective actions through problem-solving sessions.

  • Cross-Department

    Collaboration:

    Coordinate communication between Sales, Sales Administration, Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Accounts Receivable, Production Planning, and Shipping.

  • Event Support: Assist in organizing sales meetings, functions, and national conventions.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop and maintain comprehensive Sales and Marketing Plans, including special promotions and rebate programs.

  • Travel: Undertake extensive travel within the USA and international markets to maintain market share and customer relationships.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years in account management.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively as required.
