Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the luxury relocation market. This role focuses heavily on building and nurturing high-value relationships—particularly within the entertainment, professional sports, and ultra-luxury residential sectors. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and relationship-driven, with a history of success in sales or business development and the professionalism required to confidently engage elite clientele.
Job Responsibilities- Research, identify, and directly engage prospective clients across key luxury verticals, including entertainment executives, professional athletes, agents, player relations managers, ultra-luxury homebuilders, high-end realtors, residential designers, luxury high-rise owners, concierge service firms, fine furnishings distributors, and individuals in the top 1% of income and wealth.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients and referral partners to drive new and recurring business.
- Clearly communicate and promote the firm’s capabilities, services, and value proposition to high-value prospects.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with organizational growth targets.
- Attend high-value networking events, industry conferences, and professional gatherings to expand brand visibility.
- Provide consistent reporting on pipeline activity, revenue opportunities, and business development progress.
- Lead the major-client program, targeting an annual portfolio of 200+ high-value clients generating $50,000+ each in annual sales.
- Oversee prospecting campaigns, goal setting, pipeline development, and solicitation strategies.
- Personally manage a select portfolio of high-value clients, overseeing all cultivation, solicitation, engagement, and stewardship.
- Represent the company in presentations and meetings with executives, real estate professionals, designers, sports agents, and team personnel.
- Serve as a primary liaison to charitable boards, professional teams, and strategic partners to strengthen relationships and expand opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-range planning, budgeting, and alignment with company goals and brand standards.
- Utilize CRM systems, analytics, and research tools to inform strategy and enhance performance.
- Perform additional duties as needed in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with demonstrated success engaging high-value clients and partners.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, maturity, and confidentiality.
