The Client Manager plays a critical role in supporting the sales team to achieve growth and profit goals. This is done by providing exceptional service and fostering positive business relationships with retailers, carriers, and co-workers.
ResponsibilitiesFoster and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.
Work independently with the most complex clients and accounts.
Prepare new and renewal account information, thoroughly documenting systems to assist the Sales team in making informed business decisions.
Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, including binding coverage requests and collecting supporting documents from retail agents and clients.
Submit applications to selected carriers based on underwriting guidelines.
Follow up with retail agents as needed to ensure accounts are fully bound and completed.
Review policies, endorsements, and other account activities for accuracy.
Mentor and guide less experienced client/account representatives to help develop their skills and knowledge.
Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Continuously develop industry knowledge through education, self-study, and attending seminars.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, with two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Industry certifications or designations are highly preferred.
Experience in insurance and/or banking is preferred.
