Overview
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company in the chocolate & cocoa industry, is seeking an experienced National Accounts Manager to join their team. This is a remote opportunity (candidates should be located near a major airport) with a highly competitive compensation package including base salary plus bonus potential.
- Pay: $175,000 base salary + bonus potential
- Location: Remote or major metro area (must be near a major airport)
- Travel: 75%+ domestic travel required
- Own and grow relationships with key national chocolate and cocoa manufacturers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for purchasing, R&D, operations, and executive teams
- Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and profitability
- Identify new sales opportunities and secure new business across national-level clients
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, production, and customer service teams
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategy
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver sales forecasts and account performance reports
- Monitor industry trends and provide market intelligence
- 5+ years in national or key account management
- Direct cocoa and chocolate industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of chocolate/cocoa processing and manufacturing operations
- Experience in B2B equipment or ingredient sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel 75%+ domestically
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
