The Vision for This Role

The Chief of Staff is the operational backbone of Mpowered Journey.

This is not a traditional executive assistant role. It is a strategic operator position designed for someone who thrives on creating order out of complexity, translating vision into execution, and ensuring that meaningful work actually gets done - consistently, calmly, and at a high standard.

In this role, you will work closely with the Founder and the Fractional Integrator to ensure the business runs with clarity, focus, and momentum. You will be the person who keeps the company aligned day-to-day so the leadership team can think longer-term and move faster without chaos.

What You’ll Own

As Chief of Staff, you are accountable for daily execution, internal alignment, and operational rhythm across Mpowered Journey.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operational Leadership & Execution
  • Serve as the day-to-day operator of the business, ensuring priorities move forward without constant escalation
  • Translate strategic direction from the Integrator and Founder into clear action plans
  • Own internal workflows, task management, timelines, and follow-through
  • Identify friction points, inefficiencies, or gaps before they become problems
Founder Support & Leverage
  • Manage CEO's calendar, preparation, and priorities so she can focus on content, delivery, and thought leadership
  • Prepare materials, agendas, and context ahead of key meetings, talks, and workshops
  • Act as a buffer and filter so Ann is not pulled into unnecessary operational noise
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the central communication hub across Sales, Events, Creative, and Operations
  • Ensure teams are aligned on what matters most - and what doesn’t
  • Run weekly internal check-ins and track commitments to completion
Accountability & Cadence
  • Help run the operating cadence (weekly priorities, scorecards, issue tracking)
  • Ensure systems built by the Integrator are actually being used
  • Maintain clarity around roles, responsibilities, and decision rights

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
  • 7–12+ years in operations, Chief of Staff, project management, or senior support roles
  • Experience working directly with founders or senior executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization ability
  • Comfort operating across multiple work streams simultaneously
  • High emotional intelligence and professional presence
  • Experience in consulting, startups, agencies, or founder-led businesses is a plus
