Summary
The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in the Business Operation team within the Children’s Health Medical Group by driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of key projects. This position provides high-level analytical and project management and business planning support across ongoing operations, performance optimization, and budget recovery initiatives. The role partners with senior leaders, often serving as a project manager overseeing timelines, coordinating across-functional teams, and delivering regular progress updates during leadership meetings.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to align priorities and ensure timely high-impact outcomes.
- Work with senior leadership in support of the organization's budget recovery initiatives, including staffing project teams and project management activities.
- Financial and operations analysis, including benchmarking and productivity analysis.
- Financial reporting of budget recovery initiatives.
- Assist senior leadership within the operations group relative to ongoing operations and performance improvement activities.
- Complete quality improvement work as opportunities are identified.
- Resolve issues identified during leadership rounding.
- Develop communication and presentations for meetings and other events as requested.
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with customers and internal partners; interact with others in a way that promotes openness and trust.
- Review and track contracts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years previous or related experience required.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred.
