Friendly Chevrolet is seeking two dependable, detail-oriented professionals to join our team as Automotive Lot Attendant / Porter—one dedicated to the Sales lot and one to the Service lot. This is a jack‑of‑all‑trades position ideal for individuals who take pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently across a high‑volume dealership.
Position OverviewThis role goes beyond vehicle movement. We are seeking professional porters capable of managing a large lot with hundreds of vehicles, including customer vehicles in service and new/pre‑owned inventory for sale. You'll play a key role in maintaining order, safety, and support across the dealership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and organize large volumes of vehicles across either the sales or service lot
- Oversee lot flow, display alignment, and space optimization for both customer and inventory vehicles
- Move vehicles with care and accuracy, assisting with daily dealership operations
- Ensure efficient traffic and key control for all vehicles on the property
- Support sales or service staff with vehicle retrieval, parking, staging, or transport as needed
- Maintain awareness of vehicle locations and internal team needs
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- This is a hands‑on, physically active role that requires constant movement and coordination
- Previous experience managing dealership lots with high vehicle volume is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle both inventory and customer service vehicles with care and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and problem‑solving mindset.
- Highly organized, self‑directed, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
