Description
GFO Home is seeking a proactive and detail oriented professional to fulfill the role of Warranty Administrator for both our Dallas and Austin divisions. This position requires working closely with customers, construction managers, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment. The Warranty Administrator must be a team player that is able to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction while approving or denying warranty requests, scheduling warrantable repairs, and following up on the completion of work.
The ideal candidate is a team player who can multi-task, use excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to deal with and remain calm in challenging situations.
This role is an in-office position in Dallas, TX and will report to the office Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities- Review all warranty claims and approve or deny claims according to the warranty policy
- Coordinate and schedule all repairs with the Warranty Technician
- Follow up and communicate progress and completion to the customer
- Communicate to customers what items are not warrantable
- Handle multiple tasks, as well as projects within designated time frames
- The ability to say no and overcome objections in a professional manner
- Read, interpret, and get to know our warranty manual and homeowners guide
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years related experience in home building or warranty industry
