Division Order Technician

Eckard Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Division Order Technician to support the Division Orders department. Working under direct supervision, this role is responsible for performing routine division order functions while developing foundational knowledge of division order processes, ownership verification, and industry practices.

The Division Order Technician will process incoming division orders, maintain accurate owner records, manage pay code updates, and provide administrative and research support to Division Order Analysts. This position plays an important role in maintaining organized digital records, supporting internal controls, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

• Process incoming division orders and maintain accurate electronic records
• Digitally file division orders and associated documentation to ensure organized and accessible records
• Assign Division Orders to appropriate Analysts to ensure efficiency of workflow
• Assist Division Order Analysts with research related to ownership discrepancies, title requirements, and lost owners
• Prepare division order mail-outs and generate locate letters as directed
• Respond to general division order inquiries or redirect inquiries as appropriate
• Support internal controls by reviewing, analyzing, and verifying ownership and pay information
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Division Orders department and recommend enhancements
• Develop foundational business knowledge by accessing relevant data systems and collaborating with subject matter experts

• 0–3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Land and Lease Management, Contract Management, Title and Ownership Verification, Royalty Calculations, Division Order Processing, or related areas preferred
• Prior oil and gas industry experience preferred

• Must be local to DFW or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate
