Overview
Position Overview The Intake Coordinator plays a critical role at the front end of the order process for Koya Medical's medical devices. This role supports the sales team by managing order intake, insurance verification, and administrative coordination to ensure timely, accurate order processing and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming medical device orders received from the sales team
- Process benefit and insurance verification, including deductible status, outofpocket responsibility, and coverage eligibility
- Manage and track orders from intake through resolution, partnering with the sales team on outstanding balances or issues
- Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of patient, provider, and order information within internal systems
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives to resolve discrepancies and complete required documentation
- Contact insurance companies as needed to confirm eligibility, benefits, and coverage details
- Partner with the benefits team and sales team to support smooth order processing and reimbursement
- Follow up on medical records, documentation, and faxes received from clinics related to submitted orders
- Maintain organized records and ensure timely communication on order status
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Working knowledge of insurance requirements and benefit verification
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
