Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This person will help manage accounting records, prepare financial reports, and support the monthly closing process.

The right candidate will pay close attention to detail and enjoy solving problems with numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Help lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and keep financial data accurate
• Review financial results and explain differences to management
• Help with budgeting and forecasting
• Support outside auditors during audits
• Follow U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
• Manage fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support system upgrades or new accounting tools
• Help guide and support junior accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-7+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• CPA license or working toward a CPA is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using accounting systems like Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good organization and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills
