Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in public audit or tax, preferably from a top 10 firm, and a solid understanding of general accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger system.

- Prepare and post journal entries with precision and compliance.

- Reconcile accounts with attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.

- Collaborate with internal teams to review and analyze financial data.

- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures.

- Stay informed about partnership structures and provide relevant accounting support. Requirements - Minimum of one year of experience in public audit or tax, preferably with a top 10 firm.

- Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger systems.

- Strong ability to prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.

- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving related discrepancies.

- Knowledge of partnership structures is highly desirable.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Commitment to adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
