High Profile has partnered with our client to find a Senior Accountant for a highly visible role with a growing firm in the Park Cities area of Dallas. This is a key position reporting directly to the CFO within a sharp, high-performing team. This opportunity is ideal for a confident, technically strong accountant who is comfortable getting into the details, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to own their work from day one.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting operations for the firm’s management company and operating entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role interacts regularly with firm leadership, partners, and portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle general ledger accounting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting
  • Process payroll for 1099 and W2 employees in ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage AP, expense allocations, cash activity, reconciliations, and wire verifications
  • Oversee 1099 preparation and vendor record maintenance
  • Assist with tax processes and coordinate with external accountants
  • Contribute to SEC compliance, policy updates, and operational controls
  • Maintain fixed asset records and support budgeting processes
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements
  • Small, highly intelligent, collaborative team
  • Reports directly to an experienced CFO who values ownership and accountability
  • Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
  • Private equity industry experience highly preferred or financial services background
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL expertise & understanding of GAAP
  • Multi entity accounting experience required
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Hands‑on experience managing the full close process end-to-end
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional communicator who can interact confidently with leadership and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated job stability and commitment to long-term growth
