Senior Accountant

This is a full-time, on‑site Senior Accountant role located in Dallas, TX. The Senior Accountant will assist in the daily accounting operations for a large midstream oil & gas infrastructure project. This role would be responsible for recording journal entries, preparing bank reconciliations, compiling financial reporting, and assisting in special projects. The Senior Accountant should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be detail‑oriented, and be able to work independently and collaboratively.

• Preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
• Ensure proper capitalization of project costs
• Effectively communicate with project managers, procurement teams, and other individuals across the organization
• Preparing and recording capital activity (capital calls, distributions, and transfers)
• Performing bank account and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Completing sales and use tax monthly reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting related to the project
• Prepare annual audit PBCs and coordinate with auditors to complete audit timely, including roll forward and preparation of audit report.
• Prepare PBCs and coordinate with the tax team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 plus years accounting related experience
• Experience in Net Suite preferred
• Proficiency in Windows based software, including Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
