Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our multi-entity organization’s complex accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Reporting to the SVP Finance, this role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes including AP/AR, recording and verifying transactions, analyzing financial data, processing payroll, assisting with audits, and preparing tax returns while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other legal and regulatory requirements.
KeyDuties
- Month-End/Year-End Close: Manage the timely closing of books, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
- Reconciliations & Reporting: Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and prepare financial statements.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and loan covenants and assist with internal/external audits.
- HR & Payroll: Process payroll and fund benefits accounts.
- Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Strong skills in general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable operations
- Proficiency in financial analysis and compliance with accounting standards
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software and Microsoft Excel
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role
Full-time
Salary:$90,000 - $110,000 per year
Location:Hybrid, 2-3 days/week onsite in our Dallas, TX office
