Senior Auditor

Established 60+ year old Public Accounting firm seeking candidates for Senior Audit position.

• Execute Full-Cycle Audits: Participate in the planning and execution of audit engagements—including risk assessment, internal control evaluations, substantive procedures, and compliance testing—ensuring all work meets professional standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audited financial statements, including detailed footnotes and supplemental schedules.
• Client Management: Proactively develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Review the work of associates while providing the direction, training, and feedback necessary for their professional growth.
• Industry Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, GAAP, and best practices.

• Experience: 3+ years of progressive audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of GAAP and GAAS

• Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and client interaction.

Selected candidates will have Municipal / Governmental Audit experience.
