Job Title: Director / Vice President of Accounting

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director / Vice President of Accounting to lead the accounting function for a growing healthcare organization. This executive will oversee financial reporting, technical accounting, compliance, and internal controls while serving as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. The ideal candidate must be a CPA with Big 4 or national public accounting experience and a strong foundation in healthcare accounting and reimbursement
.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee healthcare revenue recognition, contractual allowances, and third‑party reimbursement accounting
• Manage annual audit process and ensure strong internal controls
• Build and develop a high‑performing accounting team
• Support M&A activity, integration, and growth initiatives
• Enhance systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure
• Financial Statement preparation
• Implementations
• Streamlining processes and creating efficiencies

• Active CPA required
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or national firm preferred)
• 5+ years in healthcare (hospital, physician practice, ASC, healthcare services)
• Previous roles working for and with a PE‑backed facility
• Deep knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle and reimbursement accounting
