Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Argyle, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the month-end close process, financial reporting, and other core accounting functions.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Location:
  Argyle, TX – Onsite

• Assist in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Support the implementation of a new billing platform
• Prepare quarterly commission statements and payment summaries
• Assist in annual audit preparation, including work papers and coordination with auditors
• Provide support for accounts payable and payroll functions as needed
• Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting processes and support tax and regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• 3-5 years of previous experience as Accountant
• Experience working with Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, and also on revenue billing systems such as Stripe
• Bachelor s degree in accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Background working with SaaS companies and knowledge of ASC 606 is a plus
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills — capable of building and automating detailed financial models
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple data sources
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
