- Maintain GL accounts and prepare journal entries (monthly, adjusting, and/or recurring) and related reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare, post, and document financial transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare, support and research monthly Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and P & L variance analysis for each location
- Reconcile and research financial discrepancies
- Reconcile credit cards
- Provide information and support to the external auditors and tax professionals as part of their annual audit of the financial statements and income tax preparation
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to support and inform our management
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and controls
- Perform other duties as assigned to support and build a high growth accounting organization
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience, required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar business degree, required
