Tax Manager

We are currently seeking very experienced tax accounting professionals at the Tax Manager level within our Tax Service line at our Dallas, Texas location. As part of our talented team of tax accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of tax engagements. You will have the opportunity to build strong professional relationships with clients, work in diverse client-service environments, effectively communicate and assist our clients in developing strategies to best service their business needs.

• Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns
• Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
• Ability to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
• Assist with the developing, training and mentoring of staff and interns
• Recognize the opportunity to provide new and innovative services
• Willingness to learn new tax skills that the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group offers. Not limited to: public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, international, cross-border and expatriate compliance services, and transaction advisory services

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Current CPA, EA, or equivalent
• A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn firm technology, present and future

• Experience with Pro Systems Engagement software
• Experience with tax research software

• Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
• We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
