Senior Accounting Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support a large organization during a period of ongoing systems enhancements and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong Oracle experience who enjoys working on projects that connect finance and technology.

This is not a traditional GL accounting position and does not involve routine journal entries or ownership of month‑end close. Instead, the consultant will focus on financial systems, data accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve processes and support ERP‑related initiatives.

$65–$85/hour (W2)

• Support financial systems initiatives, enhancements, and integration efforts
• Partner with accounting and technical teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information across systems
• Assist with structured processes related to financial data updates and system changes
• Participate in system testing activities to validate updates and integrations
• Contribute to ERP migration and improvement efforts from a functional accounting perspective
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across finance‑related processes
• Provide accounting insight to support system configuration and ongoing optimization efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong systems exposure
• Hands‑on experience working within Oracle
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, migrations, or system enhancements
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data structures
• Ability to operate in a project‑based, consultative environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
