Accounting Manager – Pre‑Revenue Life Sciences
A rapidly growing life sciences organization developing emerging therapeutic technologies is hiring an Accounting Manager to support its transition from pre‑revenue operations toward regulatory approval and future public‑company readiness. This role reports directly to the CFO and includes a blend of hands‑on accounting and higher‑level technical responsibilities.

- Support annual external audit and coordinate with audit partners
- Oversee external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings
- Review operating agreements for proper accounting treatment
- Support ERP system implementation and ongoing maintenance
- Maintain journal entries, ledger support, and approval workflows
- Monitor daily cash balances, banking activity, and investments
- Prepare cash reconciliations and support treasury‑related activities
- Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff
- Contribute to ad‑hoc financial projects and operational initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and technical accounting capability
- Internal controls/SOX experience; public‑company background preferred
- Ability to operate in a hands‑on capacity within a fast‑paced environment
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable with both foundational and advanced tasks
- Professionals who are hands‑on and comfortable with both basic and advanced accounting
