Senior Consultant (Client Advisory Services)

Perform diversified accounting related assignments under the direction of a senior consultant, director, principal, or partner.

• Lead client accounting engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in accounting practices.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to the development of tailored client solutions.
• Coordinate phases of engagements including planning engagements, set budgets for time and expenses and monitor actual performance against budget.
• Prepare/review payroll, property, and sales & use tax returns.
• Meet time budgets and client deadlines.
• Process more complicated financial reporting engagements.
• Provide training to client’s personnel for various accounting software packages.
• Stay informed of industry advancements in client software platforms and applications that will promote efficiency.
• Perform specialty projects such as software implementations, Quick Books Online conversions, and ad-hoc niche specific reporting and tax provisions.
• Assist clients with audit preparation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or comparable (3-5 years) public accounting experience or, industry related experience. Understanding of proper accounting processes, procedures and workflow. In daily accounting operations.
• Extensive experience in client accounting services.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Cash vs Accrual accounting, and accounting principles and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a client-focused team.
• Ability to establish workload priorities and perform assigned tasks on engagements or projects in a timely manner.

• Required to be in-office (Uptown Dallas) or at local client sites 2-3 days per week, flexible daily schedule.
• Title and compensation based on applicable experience (Consultant, Senior Consultant etc.)
• Compensation based on working 2300 total hours annually, inclusive of PTO, holidays, training, etc.
• Overtime required during spring/fall busy seasons.
