Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Soni's growing client is adding an Accountant to their team. The Accountant will oversee core accounting activities including AP, AR, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and routine analysis across multiple U.S. entities, ensuring alignment with established policies and internal controls. This position will also assist with cash management tasks, support audit requirements, and contribute to the preparation of tax related documentation.

• Manage monthly close activities across several business units, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Handle day-to-day AP and AR functions, including invoice processing, payment cycles, and customer billing
• Prepare and review key account reconciliations to support accurate financial statements
• Support cash management tasks, including assisting with bank reconciliations
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit requests, providing schedules and documentation as needed
• Deliver accounting support to internal teams and external partners, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Help document and refine internal control procedures under the guidance of senior finance leadership
• Develop and enhance recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support decision making

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 1 – 3+ years of experience in financial services accounting and/or public accounting experience
• Experience in broker-dealers & cryptocurrency accounting is preferred
• Experience with Oracle or similar preferred
• Willing to obtain Series 27 and/or CPA

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
