Senior Property Accountant

Addison Groupis partnered with a multi-family real estate company that is adding a property accountant to the team to keep up with company growth. This person will work closely with the Controller and ownership to close the books on multiple properties.

This role is located in North Dallas, TX and pays between $85K-$95K + bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and assist with monthly and annual close processes.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and support audits and financial reviews.
• Create journal entries and support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and resolve accounting discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with finance and property management teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information.
• Assist the Controller and accounting managers as needed, maintaining confidentiality and utilizing ERP software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2-5 years of multi-family Property Accounting experience is required.
• CPA, or CPA Candidate is a plus.
