Tax Manager

MMC Group is hiring for a Tax Manager / Senior Tax CPA for our client, a well-established public accounting and wealth management firm, in North Dallas, TX.

This role is ideal for an experienced CPA with 5–7 years of public accounting tax experience who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring staff, and handling complex tax matters in a high-quality, relationship-driven environment. The firm serves high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses and offers a strong emphasis on work/life balance and long-term career growth.

• Review and prepare 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120S tax returns
• Prepare tax estimates, projections, and planning strategies
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering high-touch client service
• Analyze and apply complex tax rules to client-specific situations
• Supervise engagements and special projects with minimal oversight
• Mentor and develop junior staff members
• Participate in practice development and expanding client services

• CPA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7 years of recent public accounting tax experience (required)
• Strong experience with tax preparation and review across multiple entity types
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Professional presence with the ability to manage client relationships
• Proficiency in Excel and Quick Books
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
