Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. This role supports month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and assists with audits and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and prepare explanations for management review.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations as requested.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, payroll, FP&A) to ensure proper accounting and timely financial reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including general ledger and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
