Sr Accountant​/Accounting Manager

Description We are seeking an experienced Sr Accountant or Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting processes. Based in Dallas, Texas, this role requires someone with a strong attention to detail, as well as a solid understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing accounting functions while driving efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, accounts payable, and receivable functions.

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and consolidation processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for portfolio companies.

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure timely preparation and submission of 1099 forms, adhering to applicable tax regulations.

- Create detailed quarterly and annual financial analyses for multiple entities, ensuring alignment with accounting standards.

- Manage intercompany accounting processes, ensuring proper recording and reporting of transactions.

- Guide and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and continuous improvement.

- Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance. Requirements - Proven expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance.

- Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and journal entries.

- Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decisions.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to oversee and develop accounting teams.

- Proficiency in utilizing accounting systems and interfaces to streamline processes.

- Experience with external audits and tax filings, ensuring adherence to deadlines and standards.
