Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Recruiting Manager @ Spectrum Search Group | Master's in AccountingThe Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial reporting. This position involves preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, reviewing financial statements, and responding to inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Review general ledger accounts and financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare recurring journal entries, such as depreciation, amortization, and accruals.
- Contribute to the month-end close process by identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address any variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of standard accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
