Position Overview

RDE Capital Group, LLC, a leading commercial real estate brokerage based in Dallas, is seeking a motivated, detail oriented Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team. This role provides support for the Company Accountant with day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role focuses on bookkeeping, account reconciliations, financial reporting support, and general accounting assistance to ensure timely reporting. This is an ideal role for someone with practical accounting experience, even without a formal accounting degree.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping & Transaction Processing
    • Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
    • Assist with organized and up-to-date financial records
    • Ensure all entries are supported with appropriate documentation
  • Account Reconciliation Support
    • Assist with bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations
    • Identify and report discrepancies to the Company Accountant for resolution.
  • Financial Reporting Support
    • Assist in preparing internal financial reports
    • Assist in preparing external financial activities
    • Compile data needed for management review
  • Administrative Accounting Support
    • Provide general accounting assistance to the Company Accountant
    • Respond to basic internal inquiries relating to records and transactions
    • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned.
  • Qualifications Required
    • High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in bookkeeping preferred
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal), preferred
    • Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or administrative roles with financial responsibilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
    • Experience with property management software (such as App Folio or similar systems)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shifting demands
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong data entry skills
    • Working knowledge of standard office equipment
    • Schedule:

      Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    Preferred
    • 1-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping support experience
    • Experience assisting with reconciliations and month-end close
    • Familiarity with financial reporting processes
    • Willingness to learn and grow within an accounting function
