Senior SEC Reporting Accountant, Hybrid (100K-110K+Bonus)

We are looking to fill a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant role with a large publicly traded company in North Dallas.

This position pays 100K-110K+Bonus.

• Prepare and file quarterly (10-Q), annual (10-K), and other SEC reports (8-K, S-1, S-3, etc.) in compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Research and analyze complex accounting issues; prepare technical accounting memos as needed.
• Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606, ASC 326) and communicate their impact to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and SEC developments; assess and communicate potential impact to the organization.
• Support the preparation of earnings releases and investor relations materials.
• Maintain and update XBRL tagging for financial statements and footnotes.
• Collaborate with internal departments (legal, investor relations, FP&A) to ensure accurate and complete disclosure in filings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) or in a public company reporting role.
• Hands‑on experience with SEC filings and financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
