Senior Accountant, In-Office 3 day/week (85K-90K)

One of service industry clients is looking to bring a Senior Accountant as part of an effort to scale the accounting team to keep up with their rapid growth. This company is PE sponsored and plans for a high growth strategy.

This position pays 85K-90K and is in office ONLY 3 days/week.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the month-end close processes for assigned areas, including daily interaction with internal business partners and external auditors.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Create process efficiencies using technology; strong data skills for structuring and enriching data to achieve business insights.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills using VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, INDEX MATCH, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience
• Active CPA or CPA eligible is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting theory and application of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
• General ledger and related reconciliation experience.
