Responsibilities
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
  • Financial statements preparation
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Journal entries and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Accounts setup and maintenance
  • Vendors’ and customers’ setup and maintenance
  • Stay updated on technical accounting standards and best practices
  • When not working on bookkeeping, there will be a variety of office-related tasks, including: recording inventory, creating invoices, filing/scanning documents, making and receiving calls, emails, and texts to/from vendors and customers
  • Sales support, managing files, assisting with front desk/reception area
  • Occasional personal assistant support to owners
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Light driving to run errands
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping/accounting and office administration
  • BILINGUAL English/Spanish. Spoken and written.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent grammar.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day guidance from management.
  • 3+ years of Quick Books Experience
  • A bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred. A High School Diploma is a must.
  • 10 key entries experienced
  • Keyboard typing proficient
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Possess an aptitude for numbers, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to perform in a busy, changing, multi-tasking work environment
  • Must have a high level of integrity. Will have access to confidential information
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to help out wherever needed.
