Senior Accountant - Hybrid; in office

Overview

Senior Accountant - Hybrid (3 days in office) in Dallas, TX. One of Vaco's PE-backed clients in revenue is looking to onboard 2-3 Senior Accountants as part of an overall effort to expand the team after a recent restructuring. Looking for Accountants with a strong GL background, preferably with exposure to inventory, revenue, or lease accounting. This is a growth role with potential to be promoted to manager in the future.

Compensation: $95-115k.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Generate accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports and management presentations.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently applied and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Interact with accounting and finance team members across the organization at varying levels.
• Demonstrate self-motivation with extensive US GAAP knowledge, process implementation, and internal controls experience.

• Strong GL background with exposure to inventory, revenue, or lease accounting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• US GAAP knowledge; experience with process improvements and internal controls.
