About the Company:
Financial Additions is working with a top tier construction company in DFW.

About the Role:
Looking for a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller to lead and manage the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, construction draws, and general ledger.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, job costing, financial statements, and management reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction/home building industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented approach to leadership.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Skills: 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction/home building industry.
