Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation & Maintenance) | Mobile role covering commercial sites from Edinburgh to St Andrews | Salary: £43,683 - £45,000 DOE + overtime
Responsibilities- Carry out installation, servicing, and PPM on split systems, multi-split systems, and VRV/VRF equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Work on chillers and refrigeration equipment where required
- Replace components including compressors, motors, sensors, and control boards
- Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, Health & Safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines
- Complete job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain clear records of refrigerant usage and parts replacement
- Liaise professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Support junior engineers and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
- Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
- Proven experience within commercial HVAC and refrigeration environments
- Experience with chillers, split systems, and VRV/VRF units
- Skilled in brazing and metal component repair
- Strong fault‑finding skills and ability to work independently
