Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

Overview

We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of residential construction projects from start to completion. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of domestic construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with Site Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and the Directors to ensure smooth project delivery and excellent client satisfaction.

• Manage residential construction projects from start to handover
• Plan and monitor project programmes and key milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
• Monitor progress and report regularly to senior management
• Liaise with clients, Architects and consultants as required
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently
• Support the management of variations and changes in scope

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager (or similar role) in domestic / residential construction
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site management
• Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience working for a small or medium-sized construction company
• Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or trade background)
• Knowledge of UK (or Scottish, if applicable) building regulations
