Job Description & How to Apply Below

Join our client in a senior compliance consultancy role delivering outsourced MLRO and MLCO services to regulated clients. This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced compliance professional seeking autonomy, technical challenge, and regular board-level client interaction!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide outsourced MLRO and MLCO services to client entities, rather than acting as MLRO or MLCO for the employing organisation.
  • Advise clients on applicable laws, regulations, regulatory reporting obligations, and emerging regulatory developments.
  • Act as a key point of contact for compliance-related queries within the Client Compliance Services team.
  • Maintain client PEP registers, authorise PEP transaction clearances, and complete associated regulatory reporting.
  • Deliver transaction monitoring, quality control, quality assurance, and associated reporting for client entities.
  • Conduct and sign off monthly outsourcing oversight and QC testing of offshore locations providing AML services to clients.
  • Support the development and implementation of client compliance programmes, policies, procedures, and compliance manuals.
  • Identify, measure, and document compliance risks to support client compliance risk assessments.
  • Guide clients in developing policies and procedures that mitigate identified compliance risks.
  • Liaise with regulators, internal stakeholders, and external auditors on client-related regulatory matters.
  • Operate independently while acting as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and review the quality of work produced by others.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in compliance or risk management, with in-depth knowledge of Guernsey regulatory requirements and GFSC AML legislation. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to advise client boards and senior management in a clear, practical, and confident manner. Experience providing outsourced MLRO / MLCO services or working in a client-facing compliance advisory capacity is highly desirable.
