Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Student Assistant
- Institutional Student Worker, on the Oconee Campus. The student assistant will serve as the receptionist at the information desk and provide generic clerical support to the faculty and staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as receptionist at the Information Desk to:
- Greet visitors
- Answer phones, triage calls, and direct caller to appropriate departments or personnel for assistance and resolution
- Assist students, parents, and others who are visiting the administrative building by determining needs and directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel for assistance
- Answer general routine questions
- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills (to include Microsoft Office and Outlook).
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
