Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction in Masters-level counseling courses
- Provide clinical supervision to Masters-level interns
- Establish and/or continue an active research agenda
- Support departmental, college, & university functions, including serving on committees
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Must have a PhD or EdD in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program.
- Must possess an established line of research.
- Must be licensed (or license-eligible) as a professional counselor in the State of Georgia.
- Counselor education teaching experience related to Child and Adolescent Counseling and Family Counseling and/or experience counseling children, adolescents, and families. Supervision credential (i.e., ACS or CPCS - State of Georgia.
