Part-Time Personal Trainer

UNG - Dahlonega, GA

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Personal Trainer on the Dahlonega Campus. Personal Trainers provide personalized workouts to a varying age and skill range, for participants in individual and group training sessions. Campus Recreation and Wellness offers a healthy and friendly work environment with flexible schedules. The chosen candidate will be a knowledgeable, energetic trainer committed to promoting fitness on campus.

• Provide personalized workouts to participants in individual and group training sessions, tailored to varying age and skill levels.
• Maintain Campus Recreation & Wellness (CRW) equipment, rooms, and storage areas.
• Implement university and recreation facility rules and procedures.
• Assist with special events as requested by supervisor.
• Attend all required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with peers, University employees and potentially community agencies.
• Ability to teach at various times to accommodate client schedules; ability to conduct safe and effective training sessions.

• High School Diploma
• At least three months of experience as a personal trainer
• Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 1 month of hire

The proposed salary for this position is $15.50 per hour.
