Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Unlimited Term Communications Assistant. The Communications Assistant will perform casual labor, assist with production of articles, videos, and content for the PSIA department's outreach efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Write content for departmental website and other communications deliverables, including articles and event reporting
  • Manage the development and distribution of innovative and effective communications materials for students, faculty and graduate audiences
  • Maintain and carry out departmental communications plan
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with faculty, students, peers and alumni
  • Work closely with University Relations, Graduate Programs, Admissions, and other UNG departments to maintain efficient and effective working relations and processes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Office environment background preferred. Article writing experience preferred.
Proposed Salary
  • The proposed salary for this position is: $17.06-$18.77 hour.
