IT Project Lead

Overview IT PROJECT LEAD (VDEPT):
Bowhead is seeking a IT Project Lead to support our V-Department contract in Dahlgren, VA. The Project Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of project performance, including technical direction, cost control, and schedule adherence. Responsibilities Planning, executing, and closing projects that meet or exceed customer objectives. Creating clear and attainable project objectives, building project requirements, and managing constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality.

Developing the overall project plan and managing project operations. Managing the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts. Ensuring team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members. Ensuring schedules are met and resources are used effectively. Ensuring proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.

DOD Information Awareness (IA) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and policies. Strategic reviews and Information Technology processes, IT Lifecycle Management and technologies and gather and analyze requirements. Qualifications Five (5) years project management experience managing complex IT projects. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Services, Project Management or equivalent. Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, ITIL Practitioner, or Federal Acquisition Certification Program/Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) Entry Level or equivalent.

DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II or higher certification desired SECURITY

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
